Jowls

Excess droopy skin along the jawline and below the cheeks is commonly referred to as jowls. Jowls can make the jawline look lower than before and can also create more pronounced nasolabial folds, from the nose to the lips, along either side of the mouth. Nearly everyone develops some degree of jowls as they age, losing the collagen that helps maintain the skin’s strength and elasticity.
